Emergency Medicine Physician - Nocturnist (No Call)

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to provide dedicated nocturnal coverage at our Penn State-affiliated facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who thrives in an overnight EM setting and desires a role with no call responsibilities.

?Schedule & Responsibilities

• Shift Hours: Dedicated night shifts, 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM.
• Coverage: Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
• No Call: This position is strictly for scheduled shifts; no additional call duties are required.
• No Guaranteed Hours: While specific shifts are available, please note that this position does not guarantee a minimum number of hours.

Compensation & Overtime

• All overtime (hours beyond scheduled shifts or standard weekly hours) MUST be approved by the department administration prior to being worked.

Qualifications

• Minimum Board Certification: in Emergency Medicine.
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License.
• Please Note: We do not accept candidates who are only eligible via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
• DEA Registration.
• Proven experience in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment.
• Comfortable working overnight shifts.
• Proficiency with the Cerner EMR system.
