Nephrologist - 24-Hour Call Coverage
We're looking for a Board Certified Nephrologist to provide dedicated 24-hour call coverage for specific dates in Missoula, Montana. This locum tenens opportunity is ideal for a physician seeking focused, inpatient-only responsibilities without clinic duties. We are ideally seeking one provider who can cover all listed dates to ensure continuity of care.
Schedule & Responsibilities
- Coverage Model: 24-hour call, focusing on inpatient nephrology consultations and emergencies.
- Specific Dates Needed:
- September 5 – September 12, 2025
- October 10 – October 17, 2025
- November 14 – November 21, 2025
- December 12 – December 19, 2025
- Responsibilities: Manage acute kidney injury, electrolyte imbalances, dialysis needs, and other emergent nephrological conditions for hospitalized patients. No outpatient clinic duties are required for this role.
Qualifications
- Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Nephrology.
- Active and unrestricted Montana Medical License.
- DEA Registration.
- Proven experience in inpatient nephrology and managing acute call responsibilities.
- Proficiency with the Epic EMR system.
