Pulmonology (Critical Care) Locum Opportunity in Illinois

We are seeking a Critical Care APP for 12-hour shifts, available day or night, Sunday through Saturday. We require a minimum of 4 or more consecutive shifts of availability per block, and weekend-only availability is acceptable.

?Responsibilities & Patient Care:

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients within our 14-bed ICU, with plans for expansion. This role involves close collaboration with on-site physicians, other APPs, and the e-ICU team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing 5-10 patients per shift.
• Participating in ICU rounds at 10 AM and 10 PM.
• Performing critical care procedures such as:
• Central Venous Catheter (CVC) placement
• Arterial line placement
• Hemodialysis (HD) line placement
• Intubations (based on skill and comfort level)
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Active Illinois (IL) License Required.
• EMR System: Proficiency with Epic EMR system is required.
