We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intensivist / Surgical Critical Care Physician for specific dates in August and September, to provide critical coverage in our 10-bed Surgical ICU in Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician with strong trauma and critical care expertise to support a busy service.
The ideal candidate will be Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery and have a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care. You'll be responsible for managing SICU patients, as well as Trauma patients in the Step-Down unit and on the floor. This role demands comfort in treating all ages, including pediatric patients.

You must be able to work closely and effectively with Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and understand the necessity of accurate and timely documentation in the computer system, as notes are not done for you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive critical care management to patients in the 10-bed Surgical ICU.
- Manage and provide care for Trauma patients in the Step-Down unit and on the general floor.
- Evaluate and treat patients of all ages, including pediatric cases.
