We are seeking a skilled and efficient Gastroenterologist for specific locum coverage needs in July, August, and September. This position offers a focused schedule primarily dedicated to clinic and GI procedures, with an optional opportunity for additional call coverage.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in both colonoscopy and upper GI endoscopy, adaptable to a flexible weekly schedule, and committed to providing excellent patient care during these crucial coverage periods.

Schedule & Responsibilities:
The physician will work Monday-Friday during the assigned weeks, with the following general structure:
- Monday - Tuesday: Combination of clinic and GI procedures (colonoscopy and UGI), or clinic only depending on schedule. Clinic shifts are 8 hours.
- Wednesday - Friday: Dedicated to all procedures (no clinic).
- Friday may be a full day or a half day of procedures.
- Optional Call: Call is available one day per week if interested.
- No Weekend Coverage Required.
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship Program.
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (or equivalent recognized board) is preferred, or Board Eligibility if recently completed fellowship.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing colonoscopies and upper GI endoscopies (UGI).
