We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team for ongoing night shift coverage, starting July 1, 2025. This position offers a stable schedule with no call responsibilities, allowing for predictable work-life balance.

The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care to a diverse patient population within our Emergency Department during evening and overnight hours.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages and acuities presenting to the Emergency Department during night shifts.
- Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests (laboratory, imaging), and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Stabilize critically ill or injured patients and initiate life-saving interventions as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with emergency department staff, specialty consultants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Accurately and thoroughly document all patient encounters, assessments, and interventions in the Epic EMR System.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Schedule:
- Shifts: 10-12 night shifts per month.
- Shift Times: 5:00 PM - 6:00 AM.
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine Residency Program.
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM) is required, or Board Eligibility if recently completed residency.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications are required.
- Excellent clinical judgment, diagnostic abilities, and procedural skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency with the Epic EMR System is essential.
