Locum Tenens Orthopedic Hand Surgeon - 24/7 Call Coverage

?We are seeking a Board Certified Orthopedic Hand Surgeon for critical 24/7 call coverage at our facility in Spokane, Washington. This locum tenens opportunity covers specific blocks of dates, providing essential support for emergent hand surgery needs.

Schedule & Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage, ensuring immediate availability for all orthopedic hand surgery emergencies and consultations.
• Specific Coverage Dates Needed:
• 07:00 AM October 9, 2025 – 07:00 AM October 14, 2025
• 07:00 AM May 21, 2026 – 07:00 AM May 27, 2026
• 07:00 AM July 2, 2026 – 07:00 AM July 8, 2026
• 07:00 AM November 25, 2026 – 07:00 AM November 30, 2026
• 07:00 AM December 21, 2026 – 07:00 AM January 4, 2027
• Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, acute fracture management, tendon repairs, nerve injuries, and other hand-related emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Orthopedic Surgery, with Fellowship training in Hand Surgery preferred.
• Licensure: Must possess an active and unrestricted Washington State Medical License or be eligible for licensure via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
• Credentialing: A clean professional file is required to facilitate expedited credentialing.
• DEA Registration.
• Proven experience in managing a full spectrum of emergent orthopedic hand surgery cases.
• Proficiency with the Epic EMR system.
