Neurosurgeon - Call-Only Coverage (Immediate & Ongoing)

We are seeking a Board Certified Neurosurgeon to provide critical 24/7 call coverage for our hospital in Washington. This is an immediate and ongoing opportunity for a dedicated physician with a clean credentialing file to join our team, ensuring high-quality neurosurgical emergency support.

Opportunity & Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 call coverage, managing neurosurgical emergencies, inpatient consultations, and urgent procedures.
• Responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of neurosurgical conditions requiring immediate attention, including trauma, vascular emergencies, and acute neurological pathologies.
• Collaborate with emergency department physicians, critical care teams, and other specialists to ensure seamless patient care.

Schedule

• We are looking for coverage for current immediate needs as well as ongoing future dates.
• The call schedule will be structured to ensure continuous 24/7 neurosurgical availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Neurosurgery.
• Licensure: Must hold an active Washington State Medical License or be eligible for licensure via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
• Credentialing: Requires a clean file to facilitate expedited credentialing.
• DEA Registration.
• Proven experience in managing neurosurgical emergencies and inpatient call.
• Proficiency with the Epic EMR system.
• Excellent communication and rapid decision-making skills.
