Neurologist (Locum Tenens - Clinic & Call)
We're looking for a Board Certified Neurologist to join our team in Richland for a full-time, ongoing locum position. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic care and inpatient call coverage, providing a comprehensive neurology practice.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing excellent neurological care, comfortable with inpatient and outpatient settings, and capable of collaborating effectively within a medical team.
Schedule & Responsibilities:
- Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Call Coverage: One full week of call per month (Monday - Monday).
- EEG Reading: The provider is required to be able to read EEGs.
- Outpatient Care: Manage a diverse patient panel in the clinic, conducting neurological evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Inpatient Consults: Respond to and manage neurological consults for inpatients during call weeks.
- Emergency Management: Address neurological emergencies as needed during call.
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency Program.
- Minimum Board Certification (BC) in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (or equivalent recognized board).
- Current BLS certification.
- Proficiency in reading EEGs is required.
Proficiency with the Epic EMR System is essential.
