Hematology Oncology Locum Opportunity in Washington

Expected duration of assignment: We are looking for a “true locum” to start in July and assist through September 29th until our permanent caregiver returns. 

Schedule /Shift hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Type of privileges: Clinic

Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient or Both? Outpatient 

Call requirement: Yes, 1 weekend a month and 1-2 days (24 hours) a week. 

Patient demographics: Adult

Average patients per day: 20

Will provider work solo? If not, other provider specialties working with them: No, Radiation Oncology, Palliative Care, Medical Oncology, ARNPs. 

Licensed Candidate: Yes, WA license required due to expedited credentialing.

Required certifications: Board Cert in Hematology and Oncology, BLS, other certs required by MSO

EMR: EPIC. Proficient User.

Additional comments (other pertinent details, procedures): Large amount of breast cancer patients on panel. 

Credentialing Timeframe-

-Standard Privileges 1.5 years, Temporary Privileges 120 days

-Standard Credentialing- 90 days

-Expedited Cred process if pre-approved by MSO - ~30 days (MSO approval needed, Clean Pre-App, State license ready)
