We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gastroenterologist to join our practice for a full-time, ongoing position. This role offers a balanced schedule blending procedural work in our state-of-the-art Endoscopy Suite with patient consultations in the office, along with essential night call responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be committed to providing comprehensive gastrointestinal care, proficient in a wide range of endoscopic procedures, and eager to contribute to a collaborative medical environment.
Schedule:
- Monday: Full day in the Endoscopy Suite performing procedures.
- Tuesday: Full day seeing patients in the office.
- Wednesday: Full day in the Endoscopy Suite performing procedures.
- Thursday: Half day in the office and half day in the Endoscopy Suite performing procedures.
- Friday: Full day in the Endoscopy Suite performing procedures.
- Night Call: The physician will take night call. Please note that callback hours are only compensated when the physician physically comes into the facility to see a patient; telephone calls alone do not count as callback hours.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of endoscopic procedures including, but not limited to, EGDs, colonoscopies, flexible sigmoidoscopies, and other advanced endoscopic procedures as credentialed.
- Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and management for patients with various gastrointestinal and liver disorders in an outpatient office setting.
- Participate in night call rotation, responding to and managing inpatient gastroenterology emergencies and urgent consultations, requiring physical presence at the facility when necessary for patient care.
- Collaborate effectively with primary care physicians, referring specialists, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all clinical protocols and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program.
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship Program.
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (or equivalent recognized board) is required or Board Eligibility if recently completed fellowship.
- Demonstrated proficiency in a full scope of endoscopic procedures.
- Excellent clinical judgment, diagnostic abilities, and procedural skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to manage a busy schedule effectively, balancing clinic and procedural demands with call responsibilities.
