General Surgeon

Dates:
7 days a month
24hr Call Coverage
Level of Care: Level 4
Primary need is covering ER call/unattached needs at the hospital.
Provider will cover pts in the clinic that they provide services for in the hospital.
Will there be any acute care need? Yes
Is there trauma involved? If so, what level?No
What certifications are required for privileges? (ATLS, ACLS, etc.) ACLS
Clinic and call schedule/ratio Clinic 3 physician / call 2 physicians
How many beds in the hospital? 198
Is BE/BC okay for temp privileges? Or do they need to be board certified? BE is okay
Will they be solo or have other surgeons on staff? 2 Additional general surgeons
