NP- Cardiology Locum Job in Coos Bay, OR
Facility is looking for a Locum Cardiology Nurse Practitioner. 3 month assignment with the possibility of extension. As the Medical Center it offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic services.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Accepting full-time (80 hours per pay period)
- 4 x 10’s
- 0730-1630 clinic hours
- 0730-1630 hospital hours
- 50% inpatient, 50% inpatient
- NP’s currently do weekly rotations between hospital and clinic (one week in hospital, next week in clinic, etc.)
- 15-18 clinic patients per day
- 8-15 hospital patients per day
- 4 physicians on staff
- An assigned MA to assist with managing patients
- Triage RN team
- Device clinic and dedicated device clinic staff
- General cardiology, invasive cardiology, and electrophysiology support
- EPIC EMR
- Minimum 1+ year of work experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner is required
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS :
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner - REQUIRED
- Oregon license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Minimum 1+ year of work experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner - REQUIRED
- Clean background/no malpractice - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Self Query - NPDB at time of presentation - REQUIRED
- CAQH login and password - REQUIRED AT TIME OF OFFER
- DEA - Verbal Confirmation REQUIRE AT NAME CLEAR
- Meets criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional membership and privilege
