Emergency Medicine Locum Opportunity in New York

Hospital is seeking a locum Emergency Medicine APP to join their team at Memorial Hospital overseeing the observation unit!

Job Description:

• Overseeing the Observation unit which consists of 2-3 patients- Will accept new grads
• Position available immediately with coverage required as soon as possible.
• 12-hour shifts- day and night shifts- provider must be flexible
• This facility does not include a fast-track area in the emergency department.
• Current documentation system: EPIC
• Census - 26 patients per day, 9500 per year
• Shift hours - either 7a-7p or 7p-7a
• Is it a single physician coverage?  Single provider
• When not rounding in the Obs unit, the APP will be assisting in the ER as extra hand under the supervision of the ED physician
• Rural ED
