Nurse Practitioner Locum Opportunity in New Mexico

Searching for  a Nurse Practitioner who is willing to be part of a collaborative team that continually works to improve patient health.

We are seeking a locum provider who can help cover our Community Health Clinic(s)  Monday- Friday  from 8 AM to 5 PM. ( 1  hour lunch from 12-1 PM) .  Locum provider will be assigned a Certified Medical Assistant to assist with entering vital, patient history, medication reconciliation &  much more.

Hospital  is currently using Nextgen, as our E.H.R system - Nextgen has many modules that our locum providers will be trained in by the best APPLICATION TRAINING SPECIALISTS. Trainers are also available as needed if providers need additional assistance. Locum provider(s) will be asked to help with meeting GAPs and Care(  Quality Indicators) on patients assigned to their panel. Providers schedules will be open to 15/18 patients per day- in 20 minute increments 

Our clinic is also set up with the IRIS interpreting system, to assist Medical Assistants and Providers with patients who are non English speaking.  The IRIS System is set up in every exam room computer to better assist.

We are seeking a Locum provider who will be willing to help cover at the school based health center, which is locate  on the High  School Campus on Monday and Wednesdays only  from 8 AM To 12 PM.  This provider will also be assigned to help cover the PMS Veguita Site on Tuesday and Thursdays from 8 AM to 5 PM. The Veguita site is located 34 miles from the main clinic.  Mileage will be provided at .525 cents per mileage. 

Our clinics also have small drug rooms,  where medications are dispensed to non insured patients.   Our clinics also have Laboratories, in which we are contracted with Tri-Core.  Lab results are interfaced into each providers task box within Nextgen for review.  Each provider will have a task box and a PAQ within Nextgen, that they will be asked to manage on a daily basis.  

A Medical Director will be onsite at the main clinic to assist locums with any Medical Questions and support as needed.  Housing will be available with the help of LocumsMart for provider(s) if needed. 

Locum provider(s)  will also be asked to follow ALL PMS Corporate Policy and Procedures that are currently in place, such as infection control, COVID practices, BH Injections and Vaccine For Children requirements are a few to mention. More discussion on Policy and Procedures will be discussed upon onboarding.
