Nephrologist - Outpatient Clinic Coverage

We are seeking a Board Certified Nephrologist to provide consistent outpatient clinic coverage on an ongoing, long-term basis. This opportunity is critical for managing patient volumes following a provider retirement, offering a stable schedule focused purely on clinic responsibilities.

Schedule & Responsibilities

• Coverage: One week per month.
• Daily Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
• Focus: Provide comprehensive nephrology care in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Key Responsibilities: Patient consultations, follow-ups, managing chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte imbalances, and pre/post-dialysis care.
• No Call Obligation: This position is specifically designed for clinic coverage and does not require call.

Opportunity for Combined Coverage

• While clinic coverage is the priority, we also have a need for call coverage at our facility. If you are interested in providing both call and clinic coverage, please indicate your interest, and we can discuss a combined role.

Qualifications

• Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Nephrology.
• Active and unrestricted Medical License in [Insert State Here].
• DEA Registration.
• Proven clinical experience in outpatient nephrology.
• Proficiency with the Epic EMR system.
• Strong commitment to patient care and excellent communication skills.
