Gastroenterology Locum Opportunity in Missouri

Gastroenterologist - Call-Only Coverage (Ongoing)

?We are seeking a Board Certified Gastroenterologist to provide dedicated call-only coverage on an ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled physician looking for a flexible role focusing on critical inpatient needs and emergencies.

Responsibilities & Schedule

• Provide expert gastroenterological consultation and emergency care to inpatients.
• Manage a variety of urgent GI conditions, including but not limited to GI bleeds, pancreatitis, and foreign body removals.
• Call starts at 3pm on Friday through 8am on Monday
• Dates Needed:
• June 20-23
• July 4-7
• July 15-17
• July 30-31
• August 5-7
• August 22-25
• September 4
• Sept 10-11
• Sept 17
• October 3-6
• October 21-23
• November 11-13
• November 26-30
• December 2-4
• December 12-15

Qualifications

• Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Gastroenterology.
• Active and unrestricted Medical License in Washington, MO.
• DEA Registration.
• Proven experience in managing acute gastroenterological emergencies.
• Proficiency in relevant emergent GI procedures.
• Familiarity and proficiency with the Epic EMR system.
