Family Practice Locum Opportunity in Minnesota

Approximately 3 needs for Family Practice Physician

Locals – Preferred. Travel in- OK

Board Cert in Family Medicine – Required **Board eligible ok if date is set for boards!

*Looking for providers who are comfortable with OB.

Providers who are willing to train/supervise are welcomed. 

• Pts per day? Waiting on this detail from client, will update once received 

Family Medicine Clinic is location within campus. 

No floating to other facilities

Specific schedule:

4x10s weekly plus 1 admin day. 

• Will Locums be scheduled a full admin day? Not necessarily  

• Is there a specific day each week for that? Depends on clinic and other needs

1-2 weeks of hospitalist coverage

1-2 weeks medicine team training

Once per week: 24-hour *remote* call. Mainly FP consults. Only OB needed for call shift is for emergent cases. Rare, but may get one delivery on a call shift. Generally, team is on-site to handle.

Credentialing timeframe 90-120 days

1 Hospital week per 1-2 months (Mother-Baby)

*24-hour remote call – once per week

• Is the 24-hour remote call clinic-based or OB-based? Phone consults only?  May have to come in and may need OB, pending provider comfort levels

• Any specialized equipment? None

• Any Ancillary Services Offered? (X-Ray/EKG/Lab Onsite) Typical clinic

• What are the required certifications? ACLS and other typical certs
