Pulmonology (Critical Care) Locum Opportunity in Maryland

CRNP critical coverage 7p-7a Mon - Sunday

10-14 shifts per month needed until a perm is hired. Could have the potential need for more than 14 per month.

*We have an open 18-bed ICU unit where our providers act as consultants. The unit is supported by Tele-ICU physicians during the night, ensuring continuous care for our patients. All patients are admitted and managed by our hospital medicine team, and it is essential for our providers to be comfortable with the full scope of critical care medicine, as the unit does accommodate some open-heart patients. Additionally, we are a Level III trauma center, which further emphasizes the critical nature of the care we provide.

*Daily responsibilities: providers will manage the day-to-day needs of post-operative cardiovascular patients as well as general sick patients, write daily progress notes, round on patients alongside nursing and surgical teams multiple times per night, and enter/initiate appropriate orders for the patient population. They will also be responsible for transferring patients as necessary and interpreting labs and imaging to act upon those results.
