Locum Radiologist - Diagnostic & Breast Procedures (KY & WV Licensure Required)
About the Opportunity
Hospital is seeking a dedicated Radiologist for an ongoing locum position. This unique opportunity combines onsite diagnostic breast procedures every other week with consistent remote diagnostic reading needed weekly. You'll be providing reads for facilities in both Kentucky and West Virginia, requiring active licensure in both states.
?Responsibilities Include
- Onsite Coverage: Providing onsite diagnostic breast procedures every other week.
- Remote Reading: Performing remote diagnostic reads for both Kentucky and West Virginia facilities on a weekly basis.
- Interpreting a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies.
- Maintaining accurate and timely patient records in the MediTech EMR system.
- Collaborating effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Licensure: Active medical licenses in both Kentucky (KY) and West Virginia (WV) are required.
- Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Radiology.
- Experience in diagnostic breast procedures.
- Strong general diagnostic reading skills.
- Proficiency with remote reading setups and workflows.
Schedule
- Onsite: Every other week for diagnostic breast procedures (specific days/hours to be determined).
- Remote: Diagnostic coverage needed every week (flexible hours for remote reads).
