Description

We are looking for a provider to Late August- September with ongoing coverage one week per month.  


Shifts available:

Monday 7AM -Monday 7AM schedule 

8 hour-Onsite for procedures, patient rounding, onsite call,  intake and overall patient support

4:30-7AM Night Call

24-Hour Weekend Call (ending Monday 7 AM)


Privileges available: Full Privileges

Geographic restriction: Prefer KY License in hand 


Accepted Credentials: Physician (MD/DO)

Board level: Board Certified (BC)

Boards: Cardiology

Certifications: BLS, ATLS, ACLS

Workload 1 case per day is typical


Skills/Procedures: Reproductive System Procedures, Operating Microscope Procedures, Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy Procedures, Surgical Procedures on the Integumentary System, Surgical Procedures on the Musculoskeletal System, Surgical Procedures on the Respiratory System, Surgical Procedures on the Cardiovascular System, Surgical Procedures on the Hemic and Lymphatic Systems, Surgical Procedures on the Mediastinum and Diaphragm, Surgical Procedures on the Digestive System, Surgical Procedures on the Urinary System, Surgical Procedures on the Male Genital System, Intersex Surgery, Surgical Procedures on the Female Genital System, Surgical Procedures for Maternity Care and Delivery, Surgical Procedures on the Endocrine System, Surgical Procedures on the Nervous System, Surgical Procedures on the Eye and Ocular Adnexa, Surgical Procedures on the Auditory System

Other Role Notes: BC Only

Required Certifications:  BLS, ACLS, ATLS, ACLS, PALS

Required Experience in: Prefer Heart and Lung with Vascular to complete practice needs, but Heart and Lungs preferred. 


Other facility info notes: Our hosp. census stays between 25-40 pts. on a regular basis.  Has gone up to 50 pts. at time. We usually have 2-4 surgeries per MD on the OR schedule each day of the week.  We have 6 Phys. Asst. who first assist in surgery, take call every day same hours as the MD on call, PAs and APRNs make hospital rounds, see consults, while we have 3 other APRNs in the office seeing pts. Monday thru Thursday each week.  


Other practice setting notes: # of surgeries: 2-4 surgeries per MD on the OR schedule each day of the week.

Types of Cases: Hearts, Lungs and Vascular

Is there other support start for Locums: 6 Phys. Asst. who first assist in surgery, take call every day same hours as the MD on call, PAs and APRNs make hospital rounds, see consults, while we have 3 other APRNs in the office seeing pts. Monday thru Thursday each week.
