Radiation Oncologist - Part-Time Clinic & Inpatient Consults - $375/hr
We are seeking a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist to provide part-time coverage focusing on outpatient clinic duties and inpatient consultations. This ongoing locum tenens opportunity offers a flexible schedule and a chance to contribute to comprehensive cancer care.
Start Date: October 6, 2025 - June 30, 2025
Qualifications:
- Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Radiation Oncology.
- DEA Registration.
- Proven experience in outpatient radiation oncology, including consultations, follow-ups, and treatment planning.
- Comfortable managing inpatient radiation oncology consults.
- Proficiency with the Cerner EMR system.
- Excellent communication and patient management skills.
Schedule & Responsibilities:
- Part-Time Coverage: We are seeking coverage for approximately every other week or 2 weeks per month, offering flexibility in scheduling.
- Outpatient Focus: Primarily responsible for:
- Outpatient consults
- Follow-up appointments
- Treatment planning
- Inpatient Consults: Provide call coverage exclusively for inpatient consults; no other call types are required.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology team to ensure seamless patient care.
