Gastroenterology Hospitalist - 7 On/7 Off (Call-Only)
?We are seeking a Board Eligible Gastroenterology Hospitalist to join our team for ongoing coverage. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated physician looking for a balanced "7 days on, 7 days off" schedule, focusing on a mix of outpatient procedures and inpatient gastroenterology cases.
Schedule & Responsibilities
- Schedule Model: 7 days on (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), followed by 7 days off.
- Outpatient Procedures: Perform approximately 3-4 outpatient scopes per day, Monday through Friday.
- Inpatient Cases: Manage unplanned inpatient gastroenterology cases during your 7-day rotation.
- Support: Please note there is no NP support available at this time. The GI Hospitalist will manage cases independently.
Qualifications
- Minimum Board Certification: Board Eligible (BE) in Gastroenterology.
- Active and unrestricted Medical License in IN.
- DEA Registration.
- Proven clinical experience as a Gastroenterology Hospitalist, comfortable managing both outpatient endoscopy lists and inpatient consults/emergencies.
- Ability to work independently without NP support.
- Proficiency with the Cerner EMR system.
