Description

We are urgently seeking skilled Tele-Radiologists to join our growing team, providing essential evening and overnight coverage for a network of hospitals. This is a critical role as we prepare for the termination of our current nighthawk coverage by January 1, 2026.

This position involves reading a diverse mix of studies including CT, X-ray, US, and MRI. There are no required procedures, as all reads are tele-ED and STAT IP exams overnight. You'll be using the RPCE Tech Stack and Powerscribe 4.0 for efficient workflow.

We need coverage for:

  • Evening Shifts: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM (minimum 64 RVUs per shift)
  • Overnight Shifts: 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM (minimum 60 RVUs per shift)

The successful candidates will primarily support our current 4 SOAR sites and will be crucial in integrating coverage for an additional 5 legacy West GA sites (WGMC, SRMC, EMH, STC, and MCY). Emergency privileges are available, and we utilize TJC Delegated Credentialing to streamline the onboarding process.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and accurate interpretations of emergency and inpatient STAT imaging studies via teleradiology.
  • Read a broad spectrum of modalities including CT, X-ray, US, and MRI.
  • Collaborate effectively with emergency department physicians, hospitalists, and other clinical staff for optimal patient care.
  • Utilize the RPCE Tech Stack and Powerscribe 4.0 for reporting.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and patient safety.
  • Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

  • Ability to maintain minimum RVU requirements per shift.
  • Excellent diagnostic interpretation skills and communication abilities.
