Gastroenterology Locum Opportunity in Florida

Schedule:

• Coverage Model: 2 weeks per month 
• Daily Hours: Approximately 8 hours per day, on-site
• Patient Volume: 5-10 hospital consult patients daily
• Procedures: Variable endoscopy needs

Call Requirements:

• Night Call: Light (approximately 5-10 call-backs per month)
• Admissions: No admissions required

Patient Population: Adult only

• Urgent Need: Seeking providers able to start prior to the end of July 2025.

Job Description: We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced [Gastroenterologist / Hospitalist Physician] to provide crucial on-site hospital consults with variable endoscopy needs for our adult patient population.

This position offers a flexible schedule of two weeks per month, allowing for a balanced work-life. The role focuses purely on consults, with no admission responsibilities. While there is a light night call component (5-10 call-backs monthly), the volume is manageable.

The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a caseload of 5-10 consult patients per day and proficient in performing necessary endoscopy procedures. We require a physician who can commit to starting coverage before the end of July 2025.

Qualifications (Suggest adding these if known):

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in [Gastroenterology / Internal Medicine]
• Active and unrestricted medical license in FL
• DEA Registration
• Proven experience in hospital consults and endoscopy procedures
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
