Radiology Locum Opportunity in Colorado

Onsite Diagnostic Radiologist with Light IR - Locum Tenens

We're looking for a dedicated and skilled Onsite Diagnostic Radiologist with light Interventional Radiology (IR) experience to join our team for a locum tenens assignment. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with minimal weekend call, focusing on comprehensive diagnostic reads and essential light IR procedures.

?Schedule & Responsibilities

• Weekdays: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
• Weekend Call: One weekend per month.
• Modalities: Interpret all diagnostic modalities, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray, and Nuclear Medicine, plus mammography screeners.
• Light IR Procedures: Perform procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar punctures, and various ultrasound-guided procedures.
• Workload Split: Approximately 80% Diagnostic Radiology and 20% Light IR.
• Volume Expectation: A minimum of 80 RVUs (Relative Value Units) per shift.

Site & Credentialing

• You'll primarily read at one main location, which utilizes a unified worklist covering multiple affiliated sites. Therefore, you'll need to be credentialed at all associated locations.

Technology

• PACS: RP PACS
• RIS/EMR: Clario

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
• Active and unrestricted Medical License in CO.
• DEA Registration.
• Proven experience across all diagnostic modalities, including mammography screening.
• Proficiency in light interventional procedures (paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar punctures, ultrasound-guided procedures).
• Comfortable with a high-volume environment and meeting RVU targets.
• Ability to be credentialed across multiple sites within a health system.
