Hospital is looking for CRNA locums coverage to help fill gaps in their schedules. Coverage needs for this position are similar to PRN schedules and will only be needed through Aug 2025.

Details:
- 10, 12, and 14 hour shifts during the day, all starts are 7a.
- Setting: Inpatient
- Trauma Level I
- Required Procedures: CRNA working under Anesthesiologist, Epidurals.
- Hospital case types: Ortho, General surgery, Neurosurgery, and urology
- SAN case types: Ortho, spine, and neuro
- EMR: EPIC
- Support Staff: None
EMR Required Training:
- Module (learn lessons) – Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
- EMR Virtual training – Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Provider will be required to complete Modules, EUPA test and PPL at least one week prior to their start date.
- All candidates must complete the following EMR questionnaire and detail it in the notes section of the candidates submission at time of presentation.

Credentialing Information:
- Timeframe: 60 days standard, Emergency Temp privs possible.
- Requirements: Candidates must have CO license and self inquiry NPDB report to release preapplication.
Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility:
- The case types seen are ortho, spine, general surgery, neurosurgery, and urology. Are there additional procedures required other than epidurals? What bedside procedures are required? SAH (Ortho, General Surgery, Neuro, and Urology), SAN (Ortho, General Surgery, OBGYN, and urology), no other procedures.
- What type of practice model? (There are three types; Medically Directed, Medically Supervised, and Independent) Supervisory Model with an anesthesiologist supervising up to 4 CRNAs at once. The physicians perform the blocks, so no other bedside procedures would be performed.
- We see there is weekend requirement, are they also 10, 12, and 14 hour shifts starting at 7am? or is there any call on the weekends? No call coverage is needed. Shifts are 10, 12, 14 hour shifts starting at 7a only. Weekend coverage is hourly only. No Call
Submission Requirements
- NBCRNA Certified - Required
- Active CO License - Required for Emergency temp privs.
- Active ACLS, BLS - Required for credentialing
- Candidate Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements set forth in job description and will complete in this order to avoid missing their start date - Required
- All candidates must detail all dates they are able to fill through June 2025 - Required
- All candidates must be willing to cover a minimum of 6-8 shifts per month beginning June ongoing - Required
- Minimum 2 years experience as CRNA including epidurals - Required to note at name clear
- Clean MP/background - Required, candidates who present with a self inquiry NPDB report at time of name clear will be placed with a higher priority over those that do not present with it.
