Plastics Surgery Locum Opportunity in West Virginia

• Specialty: Plastic Surgery and Hand Trauma
• Start Date: as soon as credentialed (8/31/26)
• Contract Length: 6 months to start with option to extend
• Shift Details: 1 week per month – Clinic/OR Coverage/Call
• Schedule: Thursday 7am to Thursday 7am  

Work Details:  

• Support staff: If in office- yes.  Only call- no.  Support staff are 3 physicians and 3 APP providers plus clerical staff, RNs, MA, LPN, PA, NP.
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 1 week per month
• Patients per day: TBD by which shift is taken.  
• Patient population/age: all ages
• Department description:  We currently have 3 physicians and 3 APPs.  We see hand trauma patients, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers and other hand problems.  We also see body contouring patients and cosmetic surgery patients.  We also treat patients with breast cancer for reconstruction. 
• EMR: Cerner
• Special procedures or skills required: Hand Trauma experience required, experience with body contouring, cosmetic and breast reconstruction needed as well.

Requirements: 

• Board Certification: required
• State license required: required
• DEA: required

Certifications preferred:   

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
• Minimum experience required: Hand Trauma experience required 
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
• Willing To License?: YES - IMLC or West Virginia Temp License
