We are seeking a Pathologist for a full-time, daytime laboratory assignment. This role features a highly structured Monday-through-Friday schedule with zero evening or weekend call obligations. The position begins with an initial 3-month contract, but is explicitly designed as an ongoing relationship for a provider who integrates well with the laboratory team.
Clinical Details & Schedule
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Call Profile: None. No nights, no weekends, and no emergency callback.
- Volume Matrix: Approximately 140 cases per day across a wide variety of case types.
- Scope of Practice: Broad general surgical pathology. The practice handles a highly robust Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) schedule driven by Interventional Radiology (IR), as well as routine frozen sections/specimens.
- Exclusions: No autopsies required.
- Patient Demographic: General community mix with an average patient age of 43 years.
