Advanced Gastroenterology Locum Opportunity in West Virginia

Practice Setting: Hospital

Start Date: 10/1/26

Contract Length: 6 months

Shift Details: Clinic plus call coverage

Schedule: 2-3 weeks per month

Work Details:  

• Patients per day: Endo center procedures range from 12-20 per day (all depends on timeliness of the physician). Clinic volume is dependent on patient type. Our current templates are 40m New and 20m Established. The usual minimum is 10-12 patients per day.
• Department description: Level IV trauma center
• EMR: Cerner
• Hospital bed size: 189

Special procedures: 

All General and Advanced GI procedures needed. Endo is a MUST. Also need ERCP & EUS

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certification: required
• State license required: required – will look at IMLC candidates
• DEA: Required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
