General Cardiology Locum Opportunity in West Virginia

• Start Date: June 1st, 2026
• Contract Length: 6 months
• Shift Details: Clinic M-F 8:00 – 4:30 
• Schedule: 24/7 call 4 – 5 consults per day.  1-2 after hour calls per day.

Work Details:  

• Support staff: MA’s and 1 RN.  
• Amount of coverage needed per month: Potential need for extended full time coverage or 2-3 weeks per month. 
• Patients per day: Full clinic days 20-25.  ½ clinic days and ½ testing supervision = 4 – 6 tests in the morning and 12 -15 pts in the afternoon.
• Patient population/age: Majority would be 50+ 
• Department description: General Cardiology department
• EMR: Cerner 
• Hospital bed size:122 bed  
• Special procedures/skill required: Certified to perform and read nuclear medicine stress tests, exercise stress tests, EKGs, Echoes, TEE.

• Board Certification: required
• State license required: required – IMLC or WV temp license accepted 
• DEA: required 
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, TEE 
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days
