???Position Highlights & Requirements
We are seeking a Board Certified Hematologist/Oncologist for an ongoing 2-day-per-week outpatient locum tenens opportunity in Wisconsin starting November 2026.
- Licensure: Active Wisconsin (WI) State Medical License or active IMLC required.
- Certifications: Board Certified (BC) in Hematology/Oncology; active BLS certification.
- EHR System: EPIC.
- Coverage Preference: Preference given to candidates willing to cover both the primary clinic location and the Antigo location (days of the week TBD).
- Work-Life Balance: Pure outpatient focus with no call, no weekends, no procedures, and no APC supervision.
- On-site 2 days per week. Days TBD. 8a-4:30p including a lunch period.
- Looking for a provider to start Nov 9th and ongoing.
Clinical Scope & Workflow
- Outpatient Duties: Standard medical oncology and hematology outpatient clinic including new patient consults, follow-up visits, and treatment oversight.
- Inpatient Referral Model: Zero inpatient rounding required — all inpatient acute care and complex tertiary referrals are directed to the Wausau facility.
- Provider will be doing outpatient clinic - new consult and follow up, oversight of treatment. No inpatient work required, no call. No APC supervision. All inpatient work gets referred to Wausau (tertiary care). No procedures required.
