Locum Emergency Medicine Physician - Consistent Monthly Shifts

• Day Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Night Shifts: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM 
• APC Coverage (Optional for Physicians): 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

About the Opportunity:

Join a high-functioning and collaborative Emergency Medicine team. We are seeking dedicated locum physicians who can consistently cover shifts each month to support our hardworking and compassionate team in optimizing patient care. We welcome physicians interested in day shifts, night shifts, and even the APC coverage hours if desired.

Onboarding and Privileging:

• Orientation: The first day for any new locum will be a full orientation day (Monday-Friday) immediately preceding your first scheduled shift.
• Temporary Privileges: Temporary privileges may be available for candidates with a clean professional file, allowing for a quicker start.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all acuity levels during your scheduled shifts.
• Performing patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans.
• Stabilizing and managing acute and critical illnesses and injuries.
• Collaborating effectively with nurses, APPs, other medical specialists, and hospital staff.
• Documenting all patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR system.

Shift Times: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM. Optional APC coverage 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM.

Coverage Commitment: Seeking locums who can consistently cover shifts each month. Please indicate your typical monthly availability in your application.

Orientation: Full-day orientation (M-F) before the first shift.

Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Emergency Medicine.
