Coverage Type: No Call (Shift Coverage Only)

About the Opportunity:

The hospital is seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician to provide short-term locum coverage for three specific shifts in May 2025. This is a shift-based opportunity with no on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all acuity levels during the scheduled shifts.
• Performing patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans.
• Stabilizing and managing acute and critical illnesses and injuries.
• Collaborating effectively with nurses, other medical specialists, and hospital staff.
• Documenting all patient encounters accurately and efficiently in both the MediTech and Athena EMR systems.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified (BC) in Emergency Medicine.
• Experience working in an Emergency Department setting.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a wide range of emergency medical conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with both MediTech and Athena EMR systems is highly desirable.

Call Responsibilities: No call coverage is required for these shift-based positions.
