Clinical Environment & Volume
- Annual Volume: 11,000 (Low-to-mid volume).
- Daily Volume: Average of 33 patients.
- Support: APC coverage provided during the majority of days and some evening hours.
- Autonomy: Must be self-sufficient in patient management; while surgical teams are on-call, they have a response time delay.
Required Procedures & Skills
Providers must demonstrate competency in standard EM procedures, including:
- Intubation & Central Line Placement
- Chest Tubes & Lumbar Punctures (LPs)
- Ultrasound: Proficiency in FAST exams is required.
Provider Qualifications
- Licensure: Active Wisconsin (WI) Medical License (Act 10 acceptable).
- Board Status: Board Eligible (BE).
- Certifications (Mandatory): ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS.
Credentialing: 90-day timeline.
