The hospital is looking for a bread-and-butter Urologist for the clinic and is calling for 3-6 months. The Clinic Manager will provide a clinic tour/orientation before the start date. Applicants should be interested in a wide variety of general cases, clinic, rounding, and OR. Candidates should be collegial team players with good patient and customer service skills. Robot onsite at hospital for cases if needed. Will be the sole provider in a fast-paced/busy department. Provider may take hospital calls during clinic hours.

Details:
- Shift times: Clinic - 8a-4p, Night call (call is not every shift) (5p-8a) and 24-hour call - 7a-7a - (1:6)
- Minimum of 3 months of locum coverage is required.
- 5-6 days of call plus clinic minimum
- Setting: clinic/call
- Total # FTE’s needed: 1
- Duties: general urology care in clinic and on call, Cystoscopy, vasectomies, prostate biopsy, TURP, uroflow/cuff, bladder scans, Ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, Cystectomy, ESWL, Botox injections, etc.
- Required Procedures: bread and butter urology, robot available; however, robotic procedures are not required.
- Patients per day/volume: 20-25 pts per day
- Number of surgeries: 20-30/month

- Call Volume (consults vs callback): 20% consults, 80% callback- When on call, 20% of patients are new consults and 80% are established patients returning to the ED.

- Support Staff: 2 RNs, MA, Surgery Scheduler, and 2 front office staff.

Credentialing Deadline & Committee Meeting Schedule
The credentialing deadline is three weeks before the provider’s start date. All required documents must be completed and in hand by this deadline.
Providers who will be on vacation, out of town, or facing any other obstacles that may delay the credentialing process will not be considered. Please ensure these deadlines are taken into account when discussing start dates—only accurate start dates will be accepted.

- Board Certified Urology – BC [HIGHLY PREFERRED] or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years upon residency completion).
- Active WA license – WA [HIGHLY PREFERRED] or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission and uploaded)
- Active ACLS, BLS, DEA – ACLS, BLS, DEA [REQUIRED] - will consider a candidate that does not have ACLS or BLS in hand but will obtain if selected.
- Candidates must be able to cover about 80% of the dates detailed (3-4 weeks) and must detail the specific dates the provider can cover through Feb 2026 – [REQUIRED]
