Orthopedics Locum Opportunity in Washington

Coverage type: On Call 

SCHEDULE : 

Dates of coverage: 5/20(7am)-5/25(7am)

On going coverage up to 2 weeks per month. The dates will be based on what their internal doctor is not working. 

Duration: 6 - 9 months

Setting: Hospital and Outpatient Clinic

Duties: Covering the ER 24/7 with dedicated PA support. 3 days outpatient clinic(these days are not confirmed, will be three mornings each week, Monday-Friday.) 

FTE: 1.0

Required Procedures: Full spectrum of orthopedic cases minus complex pelvic issues. 

EMR: EPIC

Support Staff: Hospital support and MA in outpatient clinic

Reason for Coverage: Provider resignation

Deal breakers: Must have 5 years of Level II experience

Admissions per day, Patients/day, Types of cases, Disclosures that may need to be made, etc.: Varies from 0-7

Would they take an orthopedic surgeon that has trauma experience, but lacks the fellowship training? Yes, as long as we could still get them credentialed within our system.

Submission Requirements

• Board Certification – Board Certified [REQUIRED]
• State License – WA [HIGHLY PREFERRED] or IMLC with LOQ in hand 
• Residency Requirements/Fellowship – Fellowship trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon [REQUIRED]
• Other Certifications – BLS, DEA [REQUIRED] - Will consider candidates that will obtain once offer is accepted. 
• Malpractice – Clean [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
• Availability at time of name clear – [Required]
