Description

We are seeking an experienced Board Certified Gastroenterologist to fill a critical vacancy due to a recent retirement. This "Gastro Hospitalist" role supports two key facilities in Spokane. This is an ongoing need with the potential for a permanent transition if the fit is right for both the provider and the team.


Clinical Details & Schedule

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Weekend/Night Call: None.
  • Daily Guarantee: 8 hours per day.
  • Volume/Scope: Primarily inpatient consultations and procedures.
  • Outpatient Option: For a full-time provider interested in performing outpatient procedures, the facility is open to expanding the scope; please indicate interest in your presentation.
  • Overtime: OT applies after 40 hours per week.


??Requirements

  • Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Gastroenterology.
  • Education: GI Fellowship completion is mandatory.
  • Licensure: Active Washington (WA) Medical License or IMLC (Compact) eligibility.
  • DEA: Active federal DEA required.
  • Minimum Commitment: 14 shifts per month (Preference for 2 weeks on/2 weeks off or full-time).


Facility Workflow

  • Seeking a seasoned provider comfortable with a hospitalist-style workflow.


Timeline & Logistics

  • Credentialing: Accelerated process for an "ASAP" start.
