Endocrinology Locum Opportunity in Washington

Schedule/Availability Requirements:

Hourly- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday - 7:30-4 .Thursday - 7:30-11:30

Clinic Call (after hours) - 11 days per month (No hospital/ER call. Hosp. docs may call for consults. Medication questions) Shift begins when last pt. is finished (4-4:30 and ends following morning 7a). Weekends 7a-7a.

Setting:  outpatient clinic only

Duties:  Endocrinology/Diabetes patients

FTE: 1.0 

Required Procedures: 

           Thyroid biopsies?  No

Patient Volume:  10-15 patients per day

Telehealth accepted in addition to onside coverage?  Yes. Weekend call can be remote. Everything they get called for can be handled over the phone/remote. They never need to come in

Seeing new consults? Or follow ups only?   New consults and Follow ups

EMR:  Epic

Support Staff:  MA/LPN 

Credentialing Information:

Timeframe:  default 120 days, clean background can most likely start in early Feb.

Submission Requirements

**MUST NOTATE ALL DURING NAME CLEARS, TO AVOID BEING REDIRECTED**

• Board Certified - REQUIRED, if Board Eligible(ABIM ONLY)
• Active WA license or IMLC(LOQ in hand/must upload during name clears) - REQUIRED
• Completed Endocrinology Fellowship - REQUIRED
• Malpractice – Clean Preferred
• Availability at time of name clear - REQUIRED
• ACLS/BLS/DEA - REQUIRED
