Description

Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist - Locum Tenens (Seattle)

We are seeking a Board Certified (BC) physician with training in Advanced Heart Failure or Critical Care Cardiology to join our team for an ongoing, long-term locum opportunity in Seattle, starting November 17, 2025.

This is strictly an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology need, with no transplant aspect.

  • Specialty: Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology
  • Start Date: November 17, 2025
  • Coverage Type: Call + Clinic
  • Schedule: You will be scheduled to work 1 of every 4 weeks, from Monday at 7:00 AM to the following Monday at 7:00 AM.
  • This includes inpatient care from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with night call from 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
  • Overtime (OT) will apply after 12 hours per day.
  • Patient Volume: Expect to see approximately 10-12 patients per shift.
  • EMR System: We utilize Epic for our electronic medical records.


Required Skills & Responsibilities

This is a heavily critical care-focused position. You will work in tandem with three staff physicians and be responsible for:

  • The management of ECMO, VV and VA Impella, and Durable LVADs.
  • Participating in the shock program.
  • Primary attending responsibilities for ECMO and LVAD.


Requirements

  • Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) in a relevant specialty.
  • Training: You must have specific training in Advanced Heart Failure or Critical Care Cardiology.
