Description

Start date ASAP pending creds: needs 1 locum for coverage for Physiatry Outpatient. **We really need an individual who can be in clinic on a weekly basis/ 4 weeks per month**

Provider Scope of Practice (what will they be doing): Outpatient clinic sessions, to deliver care for spasticity patients including botox treatment, spinal cord injury management, general MSK PM&R, EMG studies

Coverage Dates NeededL 1/1/2025 to TBD

Anticipated Procedures/Surgeries per Week: TBD – depending on clinical expertise

Description of Work Assignment: Outpatient physiatry provider in a larger physiatry program

Breakdown of Clinic Days/Sessions and/or OR Days: Four full-day clinic sessions per week, one weekend call per month

Schedule of Days/Times Needed to Work/ Shift Hours: 8am to 5pm four days per week; 24 hour call coverage one weekend per month

On call? Yes; one weekend per month

Procedures Provider Will Be REQUIRED To Perform: Botox for spasticity management

Procedures Preferred: Electrodiagnostic, Joint injections

Patient Load: Full Clinic Schedule. Coverage on call for up to 20 patients on inpatient rehab

Board Status Requirement (BC/BE): Board Certified in PM&R (American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation)

Certifications Required (i.e., BLS, ACLS, PALS): BLS

Define Support Staff Structure: No supervision required; RN and MA support for clinic-based activities

Will this provider practice independently? If not, describe.: Yes

Are there mid-levels? If yes, will the locums provider be responsible for supervision? No

EMR System: Epic
