Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for an immediate, ongoing opportunity in Virginia. This role balances procedural time in the endoscopy suite with outpatient clinic hours and comprehensive call coverage.

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Urgent Need: Coverage specifically requested for May 18 – May 22, 2026. Please indicate availability for this block immediately.
• Weekly Schedule:
• Procedures (Endo Suite): Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and 1/2 day Thursday.
• Office Clinic: Tuesday and 1/2 day Thursday.
• Call & Rounding: Night call is required every night, including rounding on all hospital consults.

Compensation & Hours

• Overtime: Calculated weekly (after 40 hours worked), not on a daily basis.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Licensure: Active Virginia (VA) medical license.
• EMR Systems: Proficiency in Athena and Meditech is required.

• Credentialing: 30-day timeline.
