General Surgery Locum Opportunity in Texas

We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified General Surgeon for an immediate call-only assignment. This is an emergency gap-fill; we are looking for a provider who can commit to the full 7-day block.

• End Date: March 5, 2026 (Morning)
• Credentialing: Emergency 5-Day Fast-Track
• Urgency: Critical—Candidate must be submitted today.

Clinical Details

• Coverage Type: 24-Hour Call Only
• Scope: Acute Care/Emergency General Surgery. You will handle ED consults, trauma responses (if applicable), and emergent surgical cases.
• Practice Model: Hospital-based call; no clinic responsibilities.
• EMR: Medhost

Requirements

• Licensure: Active Texas (TX) State Medical License is mandatory.
• Availability: Must be available for the entire block from Feb 27 – March 5.
