Interventional Radiology Locum Opportunity in Texas

We are seeking a Interventional Radiologist for specific week-long blocks in March. This role is ideal for a provider who enjoys a fast-paced procedural environment with a full support staff and no weekend call.

• Start Date: March 12, 2026
• End Date: March 23, 2026
• Credentialing: ASAP / Expedited

Schedule & Call Structure

• Day Shift: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with a 1-hour lunch.
• Evening Call: Monday – Thursday (5:00 PM – 8:00 AM).
• Weekends: No call responsibilities for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Clinical Setting & Workflow

• Support Team: You will be supported by 3 IR Nurses and 4 Radiology Techs, allowing for rapid procedure turnaround.
• Focus: 100% Interventional. No diagnostic reading required (outside of interpretations for your own procedures).
• Volume: Average of 16 cases per day.
• EMR: Cerner and Athena.

• Biopsies (Liver, Thyroid, Renal, Abdominal Mass)
• Paracentesis & Thoracentesis
• Renal Mass Embolization
• Shoulder Arthrograms
• Tunneled HD Catheters & Central Lines
• Bone Marrow Aspirations

Requirements

• Licensure: Active Texas (TX) State Medical License.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
