Cardiothoracic Surgery Locum Opportunity in Texas

We are seeking a Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a dedicated 8-day call assignment. The ideal candidate must be proficient in both CVT and Vascular Surgery to support emergency and interventional needs.

Assignment Timeline

• Start Date: March 20, 2026 (7:00 AM)
• End Date: March 28, 2026 (7:00 AM)
• Credentialing: Expedited 14-Day Window
• Urgency: Immediate review and placement required.

Clinical Scope & Responsibilities

• Coverage Type: 24-Hour Call Only
• Settings: Emergency Department (ED) and Cath Lab call support.
• Surgical Requirements: Must be able to perform Vascular surgeries in addition to standard cardiothoracic procedures.
• EMR: Dual-system environment (Athena for clinic records / Medhost for hospital documentation).

Requirements

• Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Licensure: Active Texas (TX) State Medical License.
• Skills: Comprehensive CVT and Vascular surgical proficiency.
