Anesthesiology Locum Opportunity in Texas

We are seeking two Board-Certified (BC) General Anesthesiologists for an immediate and ongoing Locum Tenens assignment in Texas. This role requires a commitment of at least three weeks per month.

Assignment Details

• Specialty: Anesthesiology (General)
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: April 1, 2026
• Coverage Type: Clinic/OR Coverage (Call negotiable)
• EMR: Cerner
• License: Texas (TX) License Required
• Candidate Profile: Local candidates will not be considered.

Schedule & Call

• Commitment: Minimum of 3 weeks per month per provider.
• Daily Shift: Monday - Friday coverage; 10-hour shifts are acceptable.
• Call: Call is negotiable but not required. Any call taken will be from home, not in-house.

Scope of Work

• Case Mix: General Anesthesiology with comfort in regional anesthesia required.
• No cardiac cases.
• No requirement to cover pediatrics, premies, or neonates. Pediatric experience is a plus but not required.
• Model: Primarily MD supervising CRNAs (Care Team Model), with occasional opportunities for solo work.
