Neurology Locum Opportunity in South Carolina

Coverage Details: 

• Coverage needed per month (24hr / hourly shifts / shifts + call, etc): full time
• Frequency of any Call needed: None
• Schedule Details: clinic, Monday-Friday, 8hrs, 8:30a-5p

Work Details: 

• Support staff: 5 RNs, 5 MAs
• Department Description: Needing two general neurologists to see general neuro and headache patients. Primarily based at home facility, may do telehealth for a sister facility nearby. Outpatient neurology, lab onsite
• Patient Volume: 23 patients per day
• Patient Age Group: adults
• EMR/Documentation System: Epic

• Special Equipment Used: EMG, EEG, Infusion Center

Requirements: 

• Are Board Certifications Req’d?:  BC required in Neurology
• Which State License(s) Req’d?: SC required
• Certifications Req’d? (BLS / ACLS / etc): BLS, ACLS
• Specific Skills Req’d?: 
• CSR Req’d?: Yes 
• DEA Req’d?: Yes 
• Minimum Experience Req’d (# of years): 2 years minimum experience
• Are vaccines mandatory?: Flu, MMR, Varicella (waivers are accepted)
• Any additional requirements/details to screen for?: clean backgrounds only; if not clean then provider msust have 1st and 3rd party statements included with submission.
• Credentialing/Privileging Timeframe: 90-120 days with active SC license. Without active SC license, 120 minimum (recent experience has taken closer to 5 months for non-licensed providers to be granted privileges).
