Neurological Surgery Locum Opportunity in Pennsylvania

We are urgently seeking a Board-Certified, Fellowship-Trained Neurosurgeon for high-acuity, 24/7 trauma call coverage in Pennsylvania. This role requires an immediate commitment to specific January dates with ongoing opportunities.

EMR: Epic

Credentialing Timeline: 10 Days (Expedited Privileges)

Required Coverage Dates

Shifts are 24-hour blocks (8:00 AM – 8:00 AM).

January 2026 Dates: January 2-5, 12-25, 30-31.

Scope of Work & Requirements

Trauma Coverage: Providing 24/7 Neurosurgical trauma coverage.

Rounding: Daily rounding on approximately 10–12 inpatients.

Consults: Average 3–4 new patient consults per day.

Call Response: Required to respond to STAT/Trauma consults within 30 minutes. Regular consults must be responded to within 24 hours.

Qualifications

Certification: Must be Board Certified through the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS).

Training: Must be Neurological Surgical Fellowship trained.

License: Active Pennsylvania (PA) State License or IMLC with a Letter of Qualification (LOC) in hand is mandatory.
