Pulmonology - Critical Care/Intensivist Locum Opportunity in Pennsylvania

NP - Critical Care Locum Job in Pittsburgh, PA

Shift Schedule : 

•  6P-6A or 6A-6P
• DAY SHIFTS: 10/18, 10/19, 11/8, 11/9, 11/16, 11/22: 6A-6P
• NIGHT SHIFTS: 11/7 & 11/8 (could work the whole stretch of 11/7 - 11/11 if needed) 6P-6A
• *Will have ongoing needs for nights and weekend days beginning in July

Job Description : 

• Type of patients / cases / procedures required: Arterial Lines, Central Lines, consults, Codes - NO Intubations done at night; High Acuity Cases
• Patients Per Day/Volume: 10-17 per shift
• Available support staff & physician support: Solo at night - have residents from the ER between November - June each year (Sun-Thurs nights)
• *Hospital Privileging: 60-90 days
• Miscellaneous Information: PA Child Abuse requirement for license (fingerprints); Open ICU; Virtual ICU hardwired into 4th floor Housing/Travel

Requirements : 

• Board Certified - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• For NP's - Acute Care certification required; ACLS, BLS, Active DEA
• Will you accept licensure candidates (IMLC or standard process)? Yes to compact providers
• Strongly prefer already licensed but do not want to rule out all who are not Minimum candidate commitment to consider: 5-7 shifts per month
