Description :
This CRNA opening in Pennsylvania is for a high-acuity, large academic hospital. Because they do not accept IMLC and have no temporary privileges, we need a provider with a standard PA license ready for a full 60- to 90-day credentialing cycle.
???Clinical Scope & Environment
This is a medically directed environment (2:1 or 3:1 ratio) at a major academic center.
- Case Mix: General, Ortho, Trauma, Plastics, Neuro, Peds, Endoscopy, NORA, Robotics, GYN, and ENT.
- Exclusions: No Hearts, No OB, No Blocks.
- Procedures: General/Regional/Epidural/Spinal anesthesia, MAC, and invasive monitoring/placement (CVP/CVC, PA catheter, Arterial lines).
- Support: Anesthesia techs manage equipment turnover.
Mandatory Provider Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required by the start date; must be able to "hit the ground running."
- Licensure: Active PA License required (IMLC NOT accepted).
- Certifications: Board Certified (BC). Note: DEA is not required for CRNAs in PA.
- Board Status: NBCRNA Certified.
Administrative & Payroll Notes
- Hours: No guaranteed hours. All OT must be pre-approved by Admin.
- Lunch: Unpaid. Providers must clock in/out (e.g., 7a–12p; 1p–5p).
- Credentialing: 60–90 days. No temporary privileges available.
